The Companion Animal Foundation receives many donations in the name of a beloved pet, in honor of a cherished companion, or simply in the name of a special friend.
A Gift to CAF has been made in the name of the following pets:
In loving memory of the wondrous Heather
Arnold who loved to swim and was lucky to spend her summers enjoying Rhode
Island's ocean. Heather's playful
spirit, gentle soul, and boundless love
for family, friends, and strangers alike
will be forever missed. Heather's
life-long immune deficiency issues
resulted in many trips to veterinary
specialists over the years and because
so many Rhode Island veterinarians
helped maintain a wonderful quality of
life for Heather, her family is grateful
to be able support the Companion Animal
Foundation in Heather's name.
In loving memory of Pinky Goldberg. Pinky's owner, Peter, found her by a set of railroad tracks when she was a little kitten, and so began a 21-year relationship filled with feline adventure and many wonderful times
together. Peter and the rest of Pinky's family will fondly remember her love of all people, her favorite places to be (by the sink and the bathtub) and, most
of all, her inspiring ability to roll
with the punches. Pinky never took
anything personally, even the growls and
barks of the family dog.
Please accept our donation in the name of Cappy. Cappy lived a long life thanks to the knowledge, skills and technology of the veterinary profession. Our donation came through contributions from my fellow nurses in the Kent Hospital operating room. We hope that our donation helps someone else keep his or her best friend safe and healthy.
